For most of us ‘older’ people the 80s was a great time, we had New Romantics, disco dancing and great bands. Dirty Dancing came onto our screen in 1987 and was set in a holiday camp in the Catskill Mountains. The film was about a young woman Frances ‘Baby’ Houseman (Jennifer Grey) that falls for the dance instructor Johnny Castle (Patrick Swayze) after being invited to one of their parties where she witnesses the dirty dancing for the first time.
