Transformers 2 background history : In the quest for the All Spark (an object that can bring mechanical and electronic objects to life) the Autobots home world Cybertron is destroyed by Megatron who wants to use it to rule the universe.
The All Spark is located at the Arctic Circle, where he is frozen under tons of snow and ice, he is found by an explorer, where the co-ordinates to the All Spark where-a-bouts are imprinted onto his glasses, in a rush to escape he accidently sets off Megatron’s navigational system.
The Autobots now have to race to earth and transform into every day objects and try and stop the Decepticons from getting this ultimate power.
